Today, the MGA corporate members statewide. While membership is diverse, we are commonly impacted by policy decisions relating to the commercial real estate industry at both the state and local levels. Our membership includes property owners, brokers, managers, developers, and companies that provide essential services such as architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, attorneys, and lenders, as well as a variety of industry consultants.

She previously served as the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of St. Louis for Mayor Clarence Harmon, overseeing his lobbying effort at the Federal, state and local levels. She was also his representative to a number of regional entities such as East-West Gateway, Bi-State Development Agency, now known as Metro, and the Metropolitan Sewer District. Prior to that she was the Director of Governmental Affairs for the St. Louis Association of REALTORS, one of the largest local trade associations affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS.

Kelvin has a distinguished history in government. Prior to joining Dentons, he served as Missouri Governor Jay Nixon’s Commissioner of Administration and senior cabinet director. He has served four of the past five governors in Missouri and was appointed to several cabinet posts; including Commissioner of Administration, Director of Economic Development, Chairman of the Missouri Public Service Commission and State Director for the Office of Equal Opportunity. He has been unanimously confirmed by the Missouri senate on three separate occasions.
Kelvin has also served with three of the past four Mayors in the City of Kansas City and was twice elected to the City Council in Kansas City, Missouri. Simmons served as a state political director for a successful national presidential re-election campaign and served as a senior staff member to a successful Congressional re-election campaign. He has served on more than 20 local, state, national and international Boards and Commissions.
