Ann Auer is Executive Vice President for the Missouri Growth
Association, a governmental affairs trade association for commercial real estate representing over 200 corporate members both in St. Louis and Kansas City Missouri. She has served in this capacity since October 2004. She is also a Partner in Auer Associates, Inc., a governmental relations consulting firm that deals with a variety of issues throughout the St. Louis metropolitan region.
She previously served as the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of St. Louis for Mayor Clarence Harmon, overseeing his lobbying effort at the Federal, state and local levels. She was also his representative to a number of regional entities such as East-West Gateway, Bi-State Development Agency, now known as Metro, and the Metropolitan Sewer District. Prior to that she was the Director of Governmental Affairs for the St. Louis Association of REALTORS, one of the largest local trade associations affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS.
Megan Luna Werner of The Werner Group is a 10 year ve
teran of Missouri politics, government relations and lobbying. Serving both as campaign and official staff to various local and statewide elected officials, Mrs. Werner has developed a broad understanding of the inner workings of government offices and the development of public agendas. She also has considerable experience in the private sector representing corporate, non-profit and municipal clients on a variety of both federal and state issues.
Governmental Affairs Team
Rodney Boyd is a Partner in SNR Denton’s Public Law & Policy Strategies practice group. He has a distinguished history of legal and governmental relations experience. Rodney began his career two decades ago as a legislative assistant in the Missouri General Assembly. He went on to serve as a clerk for the Missouri Supreme Court. Rodney began his legal career as St. Louis city counselor, assigned to the Prosecution Division. A decade ago, he transitioned his practice to the areas of state legal, governmental relations and public policy services. Rodney currently represents numerous private, public and non-profit sector clients as their registered state lobbyist and legal public policy advisor. Rodney has assisted his clients with, inter alia, the passage or defeat when needed of legislation, procurement or retention of state government contracts. He helps clients develop strategic governmental relationships with lawmakers and state agency employees and provides strategic political intelligence. Rodney has extensive experience in Missouri and Illinois, while also providing services in various other states.
Brian Grace is a Managing Director in SNR Denton’s Public Law & Policy Strategies practice group. He specializes in state and local legislative, regulatory and public policy advocacy for corporate, trade association, non-profit and local government clients. He has an expertise in the creation and implementation of tax incentives for business development, job creation, infrastructure development, and non-profit support purposes. Some of Brian’s successes since joining SNR Denton in 2007 include: passing of legislation, on behalf of a Kansas City-based business advocacy organization, creating the Missouri Mega Projects tax incentive program; leveraging Youth Opportunity Program tax credits, on behalf of a St. Louis-based non-profit, to help fund a program assisting at-risk youth enter the workforce; and securing an appropriation for a pilot program in the City of St. Louis to ease the transition of prisoner re-entry to the workforce.
